Mesotherapy is a technique developed in France. Extremely tolerable injections of medicine are given in areas of cellulite.Medication is used that will break down the thick collagen bands that cause the dimpling in the skin.

This is a very safe technique practiced by approximately 15,000 physicians in France. It was recently introduced in the United States. Usually ten or more treatments are needed to treat significant areas of cellulite.

Both my nurse and I have had this treatment and find it extremely effective. Treatment is given in a very short time over approximately twenty to thirty minutes. Patients walk into the office and then leave to go about their normal daily activities.

The only significant side effect is bruising, which is temporary. The pain from the very rapid injections is minimal.
